If we can let go with our own fear, we can truly remove fear from the world. Because the world appears to be some kind of human imagination about ourselves.
We are here to remember our true essence, to learn how to let ego disband, and evolve togheter towards a higher state of consciousness. That´s the path to walk through, the burden to leave behind, and the light shining in us.
A Barry Schwartz´s 20 min. speech on wisdom as an antidote to a society gone mad with bureaucracy.
He ties in together ethics and wisdom, quoting Aristoteles who once upon a time defined practical wisdom as the combination between moral will and moral skill.
Schwartz brilliantly relates how today´s extended practice of just over ruling and giving incentives, when trying to solve several issues, keeps people away from thinking, away from the real development of their potential.
As the professor says, it might be very confortable, even often brings a kind of short term safety, but at the end of the day... also assures our long term mediocracy.
Buckminster Fuller was who said that you never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing one obsolete.
Seventy-five years later, the Buckminster Fuller Institute keeps promoting this idea, organizing a design challenge and awarding comprehensive solutions that radically advance human well-being and ecosystem health.
You block your dreams when you allow your fears to grow bigger than your faith. Never fear shadows, they simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby. Because each time we face our fears, we gain strength, courage, and confidence.

If I can endure for this minute whatever is happening to me, No matter how heavy my heart is, or how dark the moment might be...
If I can but keep on believing what I know in my heart to be true, That darkness will fade with morning and that this will pass away, too...
Then nothing can ever disturb me or fill me with uncertain fear. For as sure as night brings dawning, my morning is bound to appear...
Our fundamental challenge is to give birth to a new society, a new way of being a human and a new planet. That's something never done in our entire history. Earth for sure has manifested this level of creativity, but humans have never been called upon to produce such alternative ideas.
The critical first step is to understand our primary community. That's something beyond our nation state, beyond any culture, any corporation. World does not end up in the industrial society or in our actual economic system.
We fail to appreciate that we are one economy more amongst many, birds have an economy, plants, rivers, oceans have an economy. There are a lot of different ways of making a living.
To step into this new era, we have to re-invent economic activity in a way that is an enhancement to all other economies too. This requires considering humankind as a whole, to consider us a self-aware part of the cosmos, together with the entire earth.
Stars that have evolved off the main sequence and have entered the giant phase of their evolution, are the major source of dust grains in galaxies. If one indeed traces the origin of the elements out of which our bodies are made, we are star dust.
Is it possible to have, within our actual monetary system, a world free of wars and famine? A globe inhabited with citizens behaving in ethical and decent ways, focussed on global evolution and the full development of our personal capabilities?
We should realize that efficiency, sustainability and abundance are the real enemies of the profit system. Money is the actual barrier to our society growth. Within the monetary system scarcity is what really keeps the products valuable, profits high and people enslaved.
Do we have, at this moment in time, both the resources and technical understanding necessary to build up a new self-sustainable society? What are the real barriers keeping us into this miserable global reality we are actually living in?
Coming from 'What The Bleep Do We Know?' let me introduce the amazing Doctor Quantum, in case you didn't meet him before.
He's able to explain in few minutes such things as multidimensional universes or electrons behaviour.
An easy-going foreword into the quantum science, one of our several passageways from a material rigid world, to a floppy infinite universe made of and by energy.
Flatland - 5min.
Quantum Physics Simplified - 5min.
Down the rabbit hole, see here this full 2½h excellent documentary, in a smooth playlist.
Recent advances in cellular science are announcing an important evolutionary turning point. For almost fifty years we have held the illusion that our health and fate were pre-programmed in our genes, a concept referred to as genetic determinacy.
Here you’ll see how a radically new understanding is unfolding at the leading edge of science. Cellular biologists now realize that the external universe, our internal physiology, and our perception of the environment: directly controls the activity of our genes.
Short illustrated talk:
7min.
Approaching this from a broad open view, the wisdom to be reached is related to both environment and inner awareness, and how perception is effectively shaped by our understanding.
On Bruce Lipton's book: The Biology Of Belief, describes how a thought can trigger changes in body functioning, and become physical. Moreover, how uncertainly and quantum theories support this approach, and help to explain that our knowledge in science must be upgraded from the rigid view of Newton mechanics, to a broader perception in the awareness of a world made of energy.
Clicking on this presentation1 & 2, you may enjoy a detailed development of the New Biology theories, by Professor Lipton. Great things shall come from the seed of this work.
Beyond the horizon of the place we lived when we were young In a world of magnets and miracles Our troughts strayed constandly and without boundary The ringing of the division bell had begin
Along the long road and on down the causeway Do they still meet there by the cut
There was a ragged band that followed in our footsteps Running before time took our dreams away Leaving the myriad small creatures trying to tie us to the ground To a life consumed by slow decay
The grass was greener The light was brighter With friends surrounded The night of wonder
Looking beyond the embers of bridges glowing behind us To a glimpse of how green it was on the other side Steps taken forwards but sleepwalking back again Dragged by the force of some inner tide
At a higher altitude with flag unfuried We reached the dizzy heights of that dreamed of world
Eneumbered forever by desire and ambition Theres a hunger still unsatisfied Our weary eyes still stray to the horizon Though down this road we've been so many time
The grass was greener The light was brighter The taste was sweeter The nights of wonder With friends surrounded The dawn mist glowing The water flowing The endless river
Never before in the history of humankind we’ve had such amount of information, opportunities and resources to develop our knowledge; and never before we’ve seen such an epidemic of stupidity around.
The following excellent documentary explores this phenomenon, with a comic but scientific approach; digging in the interesting origins of the etymology of several words related to this concept.

Also the intro of the funny movie idiocracy, brings a very interesting point of view about human evolution. Referring to a not-so-unlikely future that someday might come to reality, if in our global society we keep spoiling and compensating ourselves and the young generations, for being each time more proud of our ignorance.
Evolution and ♥ labels begin with a fragment of Richard Linklater's movie 'Waking Live', wondering why human evolution seems to had been on hold for so long.
The cut is questioning some of our actual society values, and points out to one of the reasons why we are stuck in the same loop, for so many centuries.
Potential - 1½min.
This is plot's film at Wikipedia: 'In a broad scope, Waking Life is about a young man in a persistent lucid dream-like state. The film follows its protagonist as he initially observes and later participates in philosophical discussions that weave together issues like appearance and reality, free will, our relationships with others, and the meaning of life. The young man eventually comes to realize the possibility that the reason he is unable to wake up is because he is dead' ... But he isn't.

Did you see the dancer turning clockwise or anti-clockwise?
If you see her moving clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice-versa. Most of the people would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise, to the left. Though you can try to focus for a while and change the direction. See if you can do it!
LEFT BRAIN FUNCTIONS:
Uses logic, analytical, detail oriented, facts rule, words and language, present and past, math and science, can comprehend, knowing, organized, acknowledges, order/pattern perception, knows object name, reality based, scientific, deatached, sequential, forms strategies, practical, repetitive, precise, literal, safe...
RIGHT BRAIN FUNCTIONS:
Uses feeling, "big picture" oriented, imagination rules, symbols and images, present and future, philosophy & religion, can "get it" (i.e. meaning), conceptual, believes, imaginative, intuitive, appreciates, spatial perception, knows object function, irregular, fantasy based, heuristic, empathetic, figurative, presents possibilities, impetuous, creative, risk taking...
Would say that if you see the dancer spinning in one way, you should try to develop the habilities related with the other side of your brain.
If this really works, and you see her spinning in both directions or you're able to make the figure turn the other way around, realise that your brain is close to equilibrium between hemispheres. This doesn't mean that you are an enchanced human, rather would say a bit especial.
If this is the case you already have a balanced brain, an uncommon and probably gained attribute, which will put you in a better position for developing more of your potential. What doesn't say the test is how far are you on this path.
Anyway, as one friend once wisely said: Always remember that you are unique, just like everybody else. For sure you already know it, the problem is not to forget it.
Update: Check this interesting presentation about brain duality* out!
